Keep an eye on the injection warning lamp! Located in the engine’s intake manifold, the MTE-THOMSON MAP sensor constantly tells the computer how much air is ingested and calculates how much fuel should be injected. This sensor contains special ceramics that can measure depression in the manifold in a precise manner, allowing for quick responses by the engine in cases of sudden acceleration – essential for passing other vehicles. It also allows for perfect fuel combustion, generating no pollutants. Thus, the MAP sensor is indispensable in the electronic injection system.
